On June 10, Norwood Police officers completed part of their bi-annual firearms training which included a qualification in their department firearm, off duty firearm, and patrol rifle. This is mandatory training for all sworn officers of the department. The training also included shooting on target from distances of 25 feet or more while using barriers for cover.
