Artmaking For Sanity's Sake: Creativity Circle for Caregivers
A free, drop-in artmaking workshop to help moms and other family and professional caregivers prioritize their mental wellness through creative expression.
“For Sanity’s Sake” is a series of free, drop-in artmaking workshops to help moms and other family and professional caregivers prioritize their mental wellness through creative expression. Led by parent artist Bosede A. Opetubo in Norwood, MA and Canton, MA this January, these three-hour events will offer mindfulness-focused art activities with all materials provided. The workshops create a warm, supportive environment where caregivers -- parents, nurses, teachers, those caring for sick relatives -- can use creativity as a tool for stress relief while building community.
This event is supported by Melanin Mass Moms. This program is also funded in part by a grant from the Canton Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
