Halloween Costume Swap at the Library
Get ready for a fun and eco-friendly way to celebrate Halloween this year! From September 30 to October 30, the Morrill Memorial Library will host its 2nd Annual Halloween Costume Swap!
Whether you have costumes your family has outgrown or are looking for something new-to-you, this swap is the perfect opportunity to get into the Halloween spirit while supporting your community.
The event accepts gently used children’s costumes, from infant sizes through teen sizes, as well as family-friendly adult costumes. All donated costumes should be in good, gently used condition, free of rips, stains, or other damage. Please note that only costumes will be accepted, regular clothing items cannot be donated. A large bin for donations will be available in the hallway outside the library children’s room, and costumes will be displayed on portable coat racks nearby for easy browsing.
Visit the Costume Swap anytime during library hours to either donate, shop, or both! There’s no need to donate in order to shop, and all are welcome to participate. After the swap ends, any leftover costumes will be donated to local organizations, ensuring that all costumes find a good home.
