Congratulations to Officer John Rooney on his appointment as the full time School Resource Officer, (SRO), for Norwood High School. Officer Rooney is an eight-year veteran of NPD where he has served many roles.  Including: a Field Training Officer, a MertroLEC mountain bike officer, Juvenile Court Officer and a member of the honor guard. Officer Rooney has been a certified SRO since 2019 and has served as SRO to NHS on an interim basis for the past two years.
