Find Your Voice Reading Program

By Michele Taranto
Norwood children and teens, stay motivated to read over the summer with the Morrill Memorial Library’s 2023 Summer Reading Program! The event runs from June 26 through September 5, just before school resumes for the 2023/2024 year.
The process is easy; teens will retain their literacy skills they worked so hard to build during the school year, read some fun, interesting books, and earn badges and prizes!
There are two ways to play: the Kids Program is for preschool to 5th grade and the Teen Program targets grades 6-12. Each age group will track either reading minutes or Bingo challenges. To get started, register at www.norwoodlibrary.beanstack.org or download the free Beanstack App on their phone, then pick up a registration badge at the library.
Tracking is easy using the Summer Reading Bingo Card on the Beanstack site or app. The younger set will earn beads and prize points while the older crowd will receive raffle tickets are earned for every completed Bingo square and five bonus tickets for every completed row. Prizes will be raffled off at the end of the summer.  The grand prize for the Teen Program is a Kindle Paperwhite!
