Local residents might have been a little confused when they noticed ‘A Christmas Carol’ on the Norwood Theatre marquee in April. Even more so when they got a closer look at the festively decorated windows, flyers at the theater entrance, and then Norwood Light Broadband decorating the Town Gazebo and common.

Well, no one was imagining things! Berkshires Film LLC was in town filming an independent film, and you guessed it, a holiday movie! The film is entitled ‘A Playful Romance,’ and centers around the cast appearing in a play which will actually be filmed in Norwood’s own quaint Norwood Theatre!

Local,, non-union extras were actually recruited to play pedestrians, theater patrons, tavern customers, and more, so play close attention when the film is released!
