Run Around Sue!
Jul 31, 2020 11:43AM ● By Bella CaggianoFor the past three months, Sue Jacobs-Marshalsea has been ‘running around’ Norwood collecting donations for her Norwood Food Pantry Drive in celebration of 125 years in the plumbing industry. The generosity of Norwood neighbors has been impressive! So inspiring that there were too many items to count. From these photos, however, it is clear that the local community was unwavering in their support. Many who participated also gave monetary donations which will help the pantry supplement their inventory, especially when their shelves begin to diminish.
A grand prize was randomly chosen from all that contributed, but from the plethora of people who participated, it is clear that the intent of their generosity was the end result, not the prize; to help fellow neighbors who have fell on hard times and need some assistance to put food on their tables for their family.
The Grand Prize Wagon is done! One Winner will be drawn for $1,000 of toilet, scratch tickets, disposal, faucet, gift certificates, tools, toys, gift basket, games, etc. Thank you to everyone who helped me help the Norwood Food Pantry!
“I cannot thank everyone enough who helped me celebrate being in the family plumbing business for over 125 years,” Sue Jacobs-Marshalsea said. “Such an amazing accomplishment. This whole fundraiser was in memory of my sister, Lori.”
The Grand Prize and runner’s up were chosen on July 16. Congratulations to the winners and for all donators who gave even just a little to help a lot.
